Attention retro fans: Lego announces 70s portable radio
Lego Icons announces a retro portable radio. It not only looks cool, but also functions as a smartphone holder.
You can soon bring pure nostalgia into your home with the new set from Lego Icons: The Danish toy giant has announced a detailed replica of a retro transistor radio from the 1970s.
The set with the number 10334 consists of 906 parts and is recommended for ages 18 and up. The turquoise-coloured portable radio has a fold-up handle and an antenna that can be set up. It also has a rotary control for switching on and off and a frequency scale with needle.

A compartment for your smartphone is located on the back of the radio so that you can play your own music via the radio. Whether you'll really like the Lego radio better than your portable JBL box is debatable, but it's certainly a cool extra feature.

With the antenna positioned vertically, the radio measures 32 x 23 x 7 centimetres. Lego quotes the price at 99.99 euros or 119 Swiss francs. Lego Insiders customers will be able to buy the radio from 1 June 2024, and it will be available in the Lego shop from 4 June.
