What used to be a diary is now a journal. The term describes the jotting down of thoughts, feelings, experiences or ideas in a notebook. These texts can then be decorated and personalised with sketches or elements such as washi tape, photo collages or stickers. Experienced diarists and authors create real works of art in the process.
Journaling is said to have many positive qualities. It helps you to reflect and practise gratitude and supports you in times of stress, anxiety or sadness.
