Microsoft is launching its "Surface Laptops 7th Edition" and "Surface Pro 11th Edition" as an additional variant with Intel instead of Qualcomm processors. You can order the business devices from us now.
If your company works with applications that Qualcomm processors can't run cleanly, this may be good news for you: The "Surface Laptop 7th Edition" and the "Surface Pro 11th Generation" hybrid device are now available with Intel processors. Some device variants are now available. More will be added in the future.
Models with Intel processor
The mid-range Intel Core Ultra 5 236V (16 gigabytes of RAM) or 238V (32 gigabytes of RAM) chip and the better Intel Core Ultra 7 266V (16 gigabytes of RAM) or 268V (32 gigabytes of RAM) are available. Both are based on the Lunar Lake architecture.
All processors have an NPU core that processes AI tasks more efficiently, leaving the CPU more capacity for classic tasks. The NPU (Neural Processing Unit) should be able to perform more than 40 TOPS, i.e. trillions of computing operations per second.
The features of the new variants are otherwise largely the same as those of the Qualcomm versions. They are Copilot Plus PCs, which are designed to relieve you of everyday tasks with the help of AI. These include text summaries and translations, image editing and the recall feature. You can find a good overview and further information on the various Copilot helpers here.
According to the manufacturer, you also benefit from the good repairability of the devices. Numerous replacement components are available in the Microsoft Store and via Ifixit.
"Surface Laptop 7th Edition (Intel) for Business"
Surface laptops have a classic form factor with a fixed keyboard cover. The battery of the laptop version with 15-inch display is said to last up to 22 hours of video playback.

The "Surface Laptop 7th Edition (Intel) for Business" is available in different versions. You can get it with a 13- or 15-inch display. You can choose between 256, 512 and 1000 gigabytes of storage capacity.

"Surface Pro 11th Edition (Intel) for Business"
The "Surface Pro 11th Edition (Intel) for Business" comes as a 13-inch tablet that can be transformed into a notebook with the optional keyboard. According to the manufacturer, this flexibility makes it the ideal companion for presentations, note-taking and creative tasks.
