Today Lego presents a new Ideas set for Dungeons & Dragons
The countdown is on: At 6pm, Lego will reveal all the details of the Dungeons & Dragons set that emerged from an ideas competition.
Many Lego fans are eagerly awaiting the new Ideas set for Dungeons & Dragons. The Danish toy giant has set up a countdown on its website especially for this. All the details of "The Red Dragons Tale" are to be announced there today at 6 pm.
The outlines of four Dungeons & Dragons characters can already be seen on the page. As they are in the dark, you can't make out much except that they are carrying weapons and a book, for example. On the Lego fan blog Stonewars, it is therefore speculated that they are a mage and a rogue.
The set is due to be released on 1 April 2024. Lego has already revealed a few things: there will be a so-called Mimic - a monster that can transform into a treasure chest. Stonewars assumes that this will be a single free gift. This addition is said to consist of 165 parts.
What is known so far about the Dungeons & Dragons Ideas set
"The Red Dragons Tale" is the name of the set with the number 21348, which will be presented tonight. It will have 3745 pieces and the RRP is 359.99 euros (approx. 347 francs). The occasion is the anniversary of the pen-and-paper game Dungeons & Dragons, which was launched in the USA in 1974. "The Red Dragons Tale" was created in a Lego Ideas competition. In addition to six minifigures and three skeletons, the set is said to contain a large red dragon and an owl bear. It is recommended for Lego fans aged 18 and over.
You can pass the time until 1 April, for example, with these Lego sets that are currently very popular on Galaxus:
