Insgesamt funktionierte der schnelle Datendurchsatz sehr gut, wobei man dazu sagen muss, dass kaum Einstellungen am Gerät selbst zu justieren sind. Dafür ist das Airport das derzeit einzige Gerät am Markt, das automatisch den Kanal wechselt, um Datenstau zu verhindern. Der Preis ist allerdings jenseits von Gut und Böse.

Das Gerät von Apple ist wie schon fast gewohnt extrem einfach zu installieren und bietet dabei eine ebenfalls leichte Bedienung. Das WLAN Tempo ist mehr als flott und so erring der AirPort den Preis-Leistungssieg in dieser Kategorie.
