Unlike classic repeaters, Covr creates a gapless network and automatically connects you to the strongest signal as you move around your home.

Hybrid technology

Covr uses PowerLine technology to transmit network data through the power lines in your home. No loss of performance even with thick walls or large distances between repeaters.

Unlike more expensive models (for example Devolo dLAN 1200+ Wifi ac, see c't 23/2017, p. 76), the COVR-P2502 does not span a guest network. The idle power consumption, however, is at the same level. Those who can do without a guest network can save a few euros with the COVR-P2502 kit, at least at the time of purchase.
