Just a few years ago, it was essential for dedicated HiFi fans to play TV sound and music through their home multi-channel audio systems. However, the technical setup of many home theater and HiFi enthusiasts has fundamentally changed since then: Soundbars now handle TV sound, and wireless active speakers accessible via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi transmit music.

It is only logical that DALI now presents a brand-new sound system that meets these exact requirements. The active speaker, named KUBIK ONE, resembles a soundbar – and can be used as such – but it can also be utilized without a TV connection on a shelf or mounted on the wall to provide sound for spaces like the dining area, hobby cellar, or bedroom. To ensure that the KUBIK ONE integrates optimally into any room and ambiance, it is available in nine different color finishes.

The nearly one-meter-wide and only 10-centimeter-deep speaker features a sleek housing made from a solid one-piece aluminum profile, two 130 mm mid-bass drivers, two 25 mm tweeters, and four digital amplifiers, each with a sinusoidal power output of 25 watts. For an adrenaline-pumping home cinema experience and/or in larger rooms, the bass level can be increased in two stages. Additionally, those who wish can enhance the bass reproduction with an external subwoofer – the necessary RCA output is located in the KUBIK ONE's connection panel, along with a stereo analog input, two optical digital inputs, and a USB port.
