The bright IPS panel, along with precise color adjustment options and factory pre-calibration, ensures consistent and realistic color reproduction. In addition to numerous connectivity options, it also features a USB-C port with 60 W power. This allows for the transmission of video and data signals as well as powering connected devices with just one USB-C cable. The package also includes the hardware calibration software ColorNavigator Standard.
The factory gamma curve smoothing ensures a smooth color gradient without color and tone breaks during color transitions. With its simultaneous 10-bit color representation, the monitor displays 64 times more colors than an 8-bit display. It also fully utilizes the 10-bit grayscale range. The DUE function compensates for unevenness in brightness and chrominance across different areas of the screen, ensuring consistent representation across the entire display area.

... The monitor has a very high-quality finish and is easy to set up thanks to good ergonomics. A big advantage for less cable clutter on the desk is the USB-C connectivity, via which the monitor can not only be connected to a notebook, but also supplies it with up to 60 watts of power...
With a recommended retail price of 1,547 euros, the new EIZO CS2740 monitor offers good value for money in view of its excellent features - although the lens hood has to be paid for separately. It convinces with a first-class display of photos, videos and text elements. The calibration options are extensive.
