The distribution cable presented here is suitable for three fans with a 4-pin PWM connector (or 3-pin without PWM), allowing them to be operated from a single port on the motherboard or a fan controller. The cable can be connected with its 4-pin PWM plug to both a 4-pin PWM connector and a traditional 3-pin header. When connected to a PWM port on the motherboard, up to three PWM fans are synchronized and automatically controlled by the mainboard.

Only the tachometer signal from one of the three connectable fans is transmitted to the motherboard. The total length of the 3-way PWM splitter from EK Water Blocks is approximately 10 cm. The cable strands are black sleeved, which is visually appealing and allows for discreet cable management within the case.
