Im Betrieb macht die Tough Drive 3.0 2 TB (56331) eine prima Figur wenn es um die Lautstärke geht. Darüber hinaus zeigt sich die externe Festplatte jedoch als eine nur durchschnittliche Wahl in allen Belangen, gerade auch für die nur mittelmäßige Performance gilt dies.
Der Testsieger kann sowohl bei der Datenübertragung per USB 2.0 als auch beim schnelleren USB 3.0 überzeugen. Zwar könnte die Zugriffszeit auf den Speicher deutlich flotter sein aber dafür bietet das Modell eine gute Software sowie eine sehr leise Arbeitsweise. Auch die Bedienung und Verarbeitung fällt gut aus, wobei das Kabel etwas länger sein könnte.
Das schnitt in unseren Tests überwiegend gut ab. Zwar ist es aufgrund des recht kurzen, fest montierten Kabel nicht für jeden Einsatzzweck geeignet. Die 8 Cent pro GB sind der Leistung jedoch angemessen.
