The Fujifilm GFX100S II impresses with its outstanding image quality. If JPEG is selected, the camera delivers stable performance and finely detailed images up to ISO 800. - Like the GFX100 Il before it, the smaller GFX100S II model has also gained a lot in performance and a little in image quality thanks to the new sensor and image processor. Its size and weight also make it a real competitor for full-frame models.
- The ability to charge the battery via USB-C would be a welcome addition if the camera (included in the scope of delivery) did not rely exclusively on this and only comes with a USB plug-in power supply and suitable cable. An external charging cradle is available as an option, but should be included as standard.
The image quality of the Fujifilm GFX100S II is flawless. The large image sensor fully demonstrates its advantages over the 35 mm or APS-C format. In direct comparison with the GFX100 Il as the absolute top model in the medium format series, the only limitations that have to be accepted are those in handling, which are completely acceptable in view of the lower price of the GFX100S II...

The two new cameras fit very well into the X and GFX system and offer the proven Fuji quality. The X-T50 has been greatly upgraded, especially with the image stabiliser, but is also significantly more expensive than its predecessor. It will be interesting to see whether Fuji will continue to develop the X-E and X-Pro lines...
