Fujifilm X-E4
26.10 Mpx, APS-C / DXProduct details
In addition, the Fujifilm X-E4 has advanced Eye and Face Detection, a 180-degree swivel touchscreen and easy-to-use controls that make shooting and filming even more fun. Whether it's detailed photos, high-resolution 4K videos or impressive slow-motion sequences: The Fujifilm X-E4 makes it quick and easy to tell any story in high-quality images.
Weighing just 364 grams and measuring a compact 121.3mm x 72.9mm x 32.7mm (WxHxD), the X-E4 is currently the most compact model in the X Series. The camera's design is inspired by classic cameras. For an elegant appearance, the front and back are kept minimalist, while a magnesium plate made with the utmost precision adorns the top. Matching the sleek design of the body, the swivel-mounted touchscreen blends in with the camera's finished look.
The touchscreen swivels up 180 degrees for selfies or can be used when shooting and filming from unusual camera positions. A large control dial on the top of the camera allows you to select a specific shutter speed or activate programmed automatic (P). To optimise the handling and grip of the camera, many functions are also directly accessible via the front dials.
Almost the entire area of the Fujifilm X-E4's 26.1-megapixel "X-Trans CMOS 4" sensor is occupied by Phase AF pixels. Combined with the powerful quad-core "X-Processor 4" processor, this enables lightning-fast autofocus that focuses on the subject up to 0.02 seconds quickly. An advanced AF algorithm ensures precise focus tracking when tracking dynamic subjects. The camera also features the latest Eye and Face Detection technology to reliably track the subject even in near-total darkness down to -7.0 EV. Because of these capabilities, the X-E4 can be used to shoot even in situations that are problematic with other cameras. The latest model in the X series makes it easier than ever to shoot at exactly the perfect moment.

- Very compact and light
- Simple operation
- Somewhat small viewfinder
- Gets warm quickly when filming in 4K
The X-E4 is very compact for a system camera, especially with smaller lenses like the XF 27mm f2.8. The X-E4 inherits the image sensor from the X-T4. So the image quality is just as good. The operation of the X-E4 is simple, but still allows extensive settings. Too bad: the housing only leaves room for a small viewfinder. And filming in 4K ended after 22 minutes.
Exceptionally good system camera for highest demands (almost very good). With very good electronic viewfinder, large image converter and network function - in the test with the technically good Fujifilm Fujinon XF 27 mm F2.8 R WR fixed focal length set lens. Top score in the eye test...
Whether in silver or black: the X-E4 has style. If you have a thing for classic camera design, you will hardly be able to resist the charm of the new Fujifilm. However, the X-E4 is not primarily a lifestyle product, but a tool for serious photography with a good OLED viewfinder and a powerful AF system...
The more expensive Fuji X-E4 has the edge over the EOS M50 Mark II, which is mainly due to its higher speed. It is also slightly better in terms of features, but not in terms of image quality. The biggest competition for the X-E4 might be the in-house X-S10, which comes with the image stabiliser in the body for only 80 euros extra and in our opinion also offers better ergonomics...
