Fujifilm X-Pro2 Body

24.30 Mpx, APS-C / DX

Product details

The X-Pro2 is the only system camera with a multi-hybrid optical viewfinder that displays either an optical or electronic viewfinder image. The newly developed X-Trans CMOS III sensor has a resolution
of 24.3 megapixels. Furthermore, the handling has been significantly improved compared to the predecessor model X-Pro1.

The new Fujifilm X-Pro2 is the successor of the professional system camera X-Pro1, the new flagship model of the X-Series, featuring an enhanced multi-hybrid optical viewfinder that can be switched quickly from the optical viewfinder image to an electronic display. The X-Pro2 also features a new sensor and processor, which together provide improved image quality.

New X-Trans CMOS III sensor with 24.3 megapixels

The Fujifilm X-Pro2 is equipped with the new 24.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III sensor, which has a unique color filter structure that minimizes moirés and color defects without optical low-pass filters. By dispensing with the low-pass filter, the resolution performance of Fujinon lenses can be fully exploited.

With the "Acros" film simulation, the X-Pro2 offers a new black and white mode with very finely tuned tone gradations, deep black tones and excellent detail reproduction. With the new "Film Grain" effect, the images can be given a typical analog film character. The images of the X-Pro2 are reminiscent of old prints. When printing, this effect is particularly beautiful.

Powerful "X Processor Pro".

The new "X Processor Pro" processes the image data four times faster than a conventional image processor and thus contributes to the fast reaction times of the X-Pro2. Despite the increase in data volume, the camera's memory speed, power-on time and continuous shooting speed have been further improved. Combined with the X-Trans CMOS III sensor, the new processor also provides fast automatic focusing, reduced image noise, and improved tonal value and color reproduction. The improved signal processing results in less image noise at high sensitivities. With the X-Pro2, even with ISO 12'800, images with finely graded colours and brilliant contrasts can be taken.

The "X Processor Pro" improves the performance of the X-Pro2 in all areas. The switch-on time is only 0.4 seconds, the triggering time is only 0.05 seconds and a recording interval of only 0.25 seconds is possible. The autofocus focuses on the subject in just 0.06 seconds.

With the compression of the RAW image data, the performance and functionality of the X-Pro2 is further enhanced, for example by a fast live view display. The camera thus meets the high demands of professional photographers in every respect.
