Gigabyte MB GBT AMD AM5 B650 GAMING X AX
AM5, AMD B650, ATXProduct details
The GIGABYTE B650 Gaming AX is equipped with the B650 chipset for AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors and offers numerous features for overclockers and gamers. The Ryzen 7000 processors require a socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and enhanced power delivery, which is why the AM5 socket (LGA 1718) is used on the 600 series motherboards. Despite the increased pin count, the actual size of the socket remains the same as older sockets, allowing most AM4 CPU coolers to be mounted on the motherboard. The motherboard is designed for overclocking, enabling you to enjoy demanding games. The voltage regulators with 10 native and 10 virtual phases provide 105 A for stable power delivery to the CPU, ensuring high clock speeds can be maintained over extended periods. Additional features such as USB BIOS Flashback, Clear CMOS, and Q-Flash Plus allow you to recover your PC in case something goes wrong. As usual, DDR5 RAM can also be pushed to higher clock speeds.
