Product details
The GK2545T-82QD is a Traveler tripod head set, consisting of the GT2545T tripod and the GH1382QD ball head. The Gitzo GT2545T Series 2 Traveler tripod made of carbon fiber is the strongest professional four-section travel tripod featuring a 180° leg folding system developed by Gitzo. This system allows the legs to fold around the center column and an optional ball head, reducing the tripod's height to 44.5 cm when collapsed. It is recommended for use with 200mm lenses (up to 300mm maximum). With splayed leg angles and the included short center column, the tripod can be lowered for low-angle or macro shots. This tripod has the largest tube diameter in the Traveler range. It features Carbon eXact legs for outstanding strength and rigidity, as well as the Traveler G-lock, a travel-sized version of Gitzo's G-lock specifically designed to ensure security in more compact tripods. The specially designed rubber feet can be easily swapped for Gitzo's optional feet (e.g., spikes, large feet). It comes with its own shoulder strap for comfortable carrying. It is the ideal tripod for professional photographers who use longer lenses or require maximum stability while on the go.

The Gitzo is a noble tripod, but it has some luxury problems. When it comes to compensating for wind and vibrations, it is one of the best alternatives in the test, regardless of the extension height at which it is used. Deductions in the overall rating have to be made, however, due to gaps in the equipment...
