Als eines der wenigen Stative mit Videogriff wirkt das Hama Star 700 ein wenig aus der Zeit gefallen: Design und Verarbeitung erinnern an die 1990er-Jahre. Das große Packmaß und die recht einfache Verarbeitung tragen zu diesem Eindruck bei. Dafür trägt es 2,5 kg und ist sehr günstig.
