Product details
The Koolance Inline Flow Sensor can be directly connected to the motherboard, allowing it to read the RPM.
The issue that all other standard flow meters face is that they are not recognized by the motherboard. You can connect the device to the CPU fan header, which is rarely needed due to water cooling. There, you can set up corresponding alarm or shutdown functions via the BIOS or software.
The build quality is, as expected from Koolance, top-notch! The tube is made entirely of nickel-plated brass. The 1/4" threads also provide stability when mounted with the fittings. The frequency switching is designed for hoses with diameters of 6, 10, and 13 mm. Power is supplied via a 4-pin Molex connector, and the readings are taken through a standard 3-pin fan connector. The package also includes an installation manual, which features a table for converting the output frequency to L/min.
