Auch wenn die G-Modelle und die ersten Phones aus der V-Reihe tolle Geräte waren, ist der Zug für das V40 ThinQ dennoch abgefahren. An essentiellen Stellen wie Prozessor und Kamera ist der Taschenrechner seiner Konkurrenz merklich unterlegen und auch die Entscheidung, im Frühjahr 2019 noch ein hierzulande neues Flaggschiff mit Android 8.1 Oreo auszustatten, halten wir für keine gute Idee...

Das V40 ThinQ gehört weniger zur Avantgarde, sondern gibt bewährter Technik den Vorzug, wodurch es sich als ziemlich zuverlässig erweist, man bekommt bei LG eben, was man erwartet, nur besser, schneller, komfortabler oder zuverlässiger als in den Vormodellen.
