The TPE jacket is a non-toxic alternative to PVC, making it suitable for a variety of environments. It is also more flexible than its counterpart, with a bending strength of 10 million, and has high impact and tear resistance, making it a very durable jacket material. Cat. 6A cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 500 MHz in shielded versions with a braid as an overall shield and foil shielding for the individual pairs (S/FTP). Cat. 6A cables are widely used in professional settings and are ideal for Gigabit Ethernet or AV extension applications. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over very long periods. The snagless clip protection prevents the latch clip from breaking or tearing off at the M/M connection. This allows the cables to be stored and handled without getting the clips tangled.
