You can expect an enormous frequency range, extremely low distortion levels, endless dynamics, and perfect tonality that reveals even the smallest differences in timbre - all these qualities are yours to anticipate. At the same time, you are building more than just the sum of these values. With the KODEX, you are constructing a large speaker. The concept of the KODEX features a 3-way double bass D'Appolito arrangement in a cabinet designed as a borderline case between transmission line and bass reflex system. This results in minimal modulation distortion in the midrange, an optimally stable radiation characteristic, and a deep bass foundation constructed with a precision that is unattainable with significantly smaller boxes. The KODEX can sound almost lean and surprisingly dry with properly adjusted room damping, until a true low-frequency signal is reproduced that truly makes the walls shake.
