Product details

Quick overview map. USB-A to mini-B cable required (not included). Kinetis L Cortex-M0+ Freedom Board. The Freescale Freedom development platform is a set of software and hardware tools for evaluation and development. It is ideal for experimental setups for microcontroller-based applications. The Freescale Freedom KL25Z hardware, FRDM-KL25Z, features a simple yet highly advanced design with a Cortex-M0+ microcontroller from the Kinetis L series. The FRDM-KL25Z is the first hardware platform with Freescale's integrated open-standard serial and debugging adapter, known as OpenSDA. This circuit provides multiple options for serial communication, flash memory programming, and debugging of control flow. Cortex-M0+ microcontroller MKL25Z128VLK4 with 48 MHz, 128 KB flash memory, 16 KB SRAM, USB OTG (FS), capacitive touch slider, MMA8451Q accelerometer, tri-color LED. Easy access to the microcontroller's I/O. Advanced OpenSDA debugging interface. Mass storage flash programming interface (standard): no tool installation required for evaluating demonstration applications. P&E Multilink interface offers debugging for control flow and compatibility with IDE tools. Open-source data logging application provides an example for customers, partners, or enthusiasts for development with the OpenSDA circuit.
