Olympus E-M1X
20.40 Mpx, Micro Four ThirdsProduct details
Whether your assignment takes you on a safari, a sports event, or to the studio, the E-M1X offers all the professional features for every type of photography. The E-M1X has an integrated vertical handle. Both the vertical and horizontal handles offer an identical design, allowing photographers to experience the same intuitive ergonomics in both portrait and landscape photography. With capacity for two batteries, the camera is also ideal for long shoots and situations without charging.
Olympus engineers have taken the image stabilizer to a new level with a newly developed gyro sensor. It provides a level of precision that the E-M1X can match and delivers results unlike any previous system. This advanced technology compensates for up to 7.5 exposure levels, making handheld photography possible and a tripod superfluous. Thanks to the famous weather resistance of the OM-D, professional photographers can take pictures in any situation - rain, snow or sand. The SD card slots and all other connections, such as for the remote release cable, microphone and headphones, are additionally sealed.
Each button and selection wheel has its own shape, height and characteristics, so you can feel the right button and concentrate on your recording. The key layout and processing have been optimized for better ergonomics, making photography more enjoyable over a longer period of time.
The already most powerful dust protection system SSWF has now been even further optimized. The improved SSWF offers a higher level of reliability when changing lenses. Dirt and dust are therefore no longer a danger to the technology inside the camera. After various tests in extreme conditions, the E-M1X release, with a lifetime of 400,000 releases, has achieved a first-class result.
With two UHS-II slots, you can be sure that the camera will always deliver the same performance, even if a card is full. In this way, photographers can store parallel on both maps and thus always have a back-up so that results are never lost.
The E-M1X is the first Olympus camera to support USB charging of up to 100 watts. This means that you are independent of the power supply wherever you are and can charge your camera with the help of a power bank. The dual battery compartment allows parallel and full charging of two batteries in just two hours. Dual battery power gives photographers the ability to take up to 2,580 images before recharging is required. This is ideal for long photo shoots and shooting at remote locations.
