Sehr großer Zoombereich, sehr geringer Aufnahmeabstand bei Makro; Touchscreen; Blitz durchschnittlich, Video weniger zufriedenstellend.
Die Olympus Stylus SH-1 ist eine sehr schicke Kamera. Jedoch kann bei ihr das Innere nicht ganz mit dem Äußeren mithalten: Die Bildqualität ist aufgrund der starken Scharfzeichnung und der niedrigen Ausgangsdynamik nur befriedigend. Auch lässt ihre Ausstattung einige Merkmale vermissen, vor allem hinsichtlich des Displays.
Wenn es um die Geschwindigkeit geht, erweist sich die Stylus SH-1 als eine der besten Kandidaten im Test, hier erzielt sie überdurchschnittliche Ergebnisse. Auch die Ausstattung kann sich für diese Preisklasse sehen lassen, bei der Bildqualität erreicht sie jedoch nur ein mäßiges Ergebnis.

Die kleine Olympus ist exzellent verarbeitet und bietet dabei ein sehr schickes Metallgehäuse. Allerdings passt der Inhalt nicht ganz zum Look. Die Bildqualität ist eher durchschnittlich und das größte Manko ist wohl der manuelle Modus. Hier kann der Nutzer kaum etwas einstellen, wobei sie dann zwar eine solide Reisekamera ist aber keines, das ein top Modell wäre.

Bei genügend Licht ist die Olympus ein zuverlässiger und vor allen Dingen schneller Begleiter. Die Bildqualität stimmt und auch der Autofokus ist flott. Bei Schwachlicht kann das Modell aber kaum punkten und fällt mit deutlichem Bildrauschen auf.
