The Onyx Boox Note Air3 C proves to be a good tablet with an e-ink display when tested, but it also has some minor weaknesses. The tablet impresses with its design, material and build quality. The colour display is pleasing and enables sharp texts that are pleasant to read both indoors and outdoors...
As a large-format e-book reader and digital notepad, the Note Air3 C is a stunner. The pen conveys an amazingly realistic writing experience, similar to a pencil on paper. However, the device is not a replacement for a tablet, as the performance of the display is too weak for moving images. In addition, some apps cannot be installed despite Android 12.
With the Boox Note Air 3C, Onyx offers an ambitious tablet that doesn't compromise on build quality and performance data. However, the possible uses remain limited: If you want to read an e-book from time to time and are otherwise looking for a digital notepad, you should take a look at the Boox...
- Colour display, processing, pen included, Android 12 with Play Store
- Coloured images sometimes appear heavily rasterised
- Partly unconventional Android operation
An e-reader on the cusp of becoming a tablet - an exciting addition not only for e-books, but also for working.
The BOOX Note Air 3 C combines E-Ink technology with Android flexibility and impresses despite slight colour flaws and streaking effects in the display. It is ideal for reading and writing enthusiasts who are looking for a versatile digital tool.
- Hardly reflective, colour E-Ink display
- Extensive reader software pre-installed
- Pen support
- Support for Android apps
- Good performance values
- Stereo loudspeaker
