Die Systemkamera ist mit knapp 300 Euro vergleichsweise günstig, demnach sollte man jedoch keine großen Qualitäten von dieser Kamera erwarten. Die Lumix DMC-GF3 erreicht ein ordentliches Arbeitstempo, bei Bildqualität und Ausstattung ist die Konkurrenz in diesem Vergleich jedoch besser.
Die Lumix GF 3 von Panasonic sitzt in einem sehr kompakten Gehäuse und eignet sich dadurch vor allem für Fotografen, welche viel unterwegs sind und nicht das einfache Handling einer Kompaktkamera missen möchten. In puncto Bildqualität nistet sich dieses Modell eher im Mittelfeld dieser Testreihe ein.
