- Good image quality with high sharpness
- Quite simple operation
- Contrast a little flat
- Fewer streaming apps than the competition
With its Ambilight, the Philips offers a lot for the eye, and the picture quality is good anyway: The clear picture impression with clean motion display was pleasing when tested. The sound is fine, but there are gaps in the features without USB recording and on sale. The PUS8909 makes up for this with fast menus and a good remote control.

The Ambilight TV from the 2024 series impresses with an impressive resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels on a 55-inch IPS panel and very good colour reproduction. Even though the luminance of 500 cd/m² is not the highest, it is sufficient to deliver sharp and vivid images during the day...
- Bright image with natural colours
- Well adjustable sound
- Not all streaming apps available
With the new Titan OS, the Philips The One 65PUS8909 has a fast operating speed and the most important streaming apps are also available. Otherwise, the new version of The One pleases with good picture quality, decent sound and a well-designed remote control.
