Reviews & Ratings
The Philips Fidelio FB1 is a solid everyday soundbar that offers pretty much everything you would expect from a TV speaker costing around 800 euros - and yes, perhaps a little more thanks to DTS Play-Fi. So if you're looking for an all-rounder, you're sure to make a good choice with the FB1...
Our soundbar test shows that expensive does not mean good. Some high-priced models do not sound convincing or have weaknesses in handling. It's worth comparing: good soundbars can be found for less than 300 euros. New in our database in July 2023: 15 soundbars with prices between 65 and 1,500 euros.
- Good sound quality
- Versatile with AirPlay and Chromecast
- Two apps required for music playback and sound settings
Considering its size, the Philips Fidelio FB1 does a remarkable job: it sounds spacious and natural, which suits both movies and music. It plays music from practically all streaming services, and thanks to AirPlay and Chromecast, this works easily with the apps of the respective suppliers.
- compact design
- Very good sound
- Expandability
The Philips Fidelio FB1 is an intelligent and compact 7.1.2 system that is fully convincing in terms of sound alone and can be optionally expanded as far as desired.
