Basic information: GS = Gap Short (shortened electrode gap), DE = Double Ended (double-ended lamp), SE = Single Ended (single-ended lamp), HMP = HMP lamps can not only be dimmed but also boosted, i.e., operated above their rated wattage, due to their special filling and electrode system. In this case, the photometric characteristics such as color temperature, color rendering index, and luminous efficacy remain virtually constant both when dimming and when boosting.
