I am a bit surprised that 8K TVs are still searched for, there is no content to stream in 8K, there will never be a media supporting 8K, they take much more power, are extremely expensive and with this Samsung offering, this TV cannot create real blacks, this is only possible with OLED technology, even Samsung is realizing this now. These Samsung TVs could also have different model numbers if they come with different frame colors or as you mentioned yes intended to be for different regions. Nevertheless, I would also check out the very competitive priced 2022 OLED TVs from LG, you can get a 77 inch one with perfect black and infinite contrast for less than 2400, maybe this is also a good option?
