Hello all I would like to buy a Samsung soundbar. I have HW-MS651 and HW-MS650 on the screen. What is the difference here? The 51 is cheaper and there are no reviews on the net, whereas there are very good reviews of the 50... Can anyone explain the price difference and the differences in general? Thanks & greetings Joni

The only difference is the colour black on the ...50 and silver on the ...51. Otherwise absolutely identical.

Has anyone managed more than stereo with the soundbar? With the latest updates (installed) and the wireless rear boxes, 5.1 (or at least 3.0) should be possible. But I can't set more than stereo on my Samsung TV UE65MU8000T, no matter whether via Wifi or HDMI. The options (DTS and other Wifi options) are always greyed out in the menus. ...you buy everything from the same manufacturer to avoid exactly such problems, and now I still have an expensive stereo system.

Hi Same for me... Go via optical cable to the soundbar. HDMI audio input format PCM or Bitstream. I have Dolby Stereo and DTS Neo 2:5. DTS and Dolby Plus greyed out. What format is the TV signal (TV station) in? Or the source of origin.... Stereo is enough for TV Zattoo

I have a Thomson UHD TV, is this sound bar compatible? If I simply plug the optical audio input into the bar, will the sound from my bluray player and my boxTv connected in HDMI to my TV come out in the bar? Thank you for your answer.

Yes, it is compatible. If the sound is transmitted (HDMI/Toslink Passthrough) I can't say, it depends on your TV model. Ask Thomson directly if it is supported like this.
