Connected to Mac without any problems and formatted with APFS. Stable speed of 3100 MBps read and write with USB4.
Cooling is very effective when the case is open - the fan switches on from approx. 40 degrees. Normal working temperature is about 60 degrees for me.

M4 Pro can no longer mount the SSD. Windows also no longer recognises the SSD. I would have expected a bit more quality. The return shipment with exchange is currently in progress. It's unpleasant if you have confidential data on the SSD.
I have been looking for an SSD that I can use as an external boot volume on my Mac Mini M1. It has to be as fast as possible. Installing the operating system and migrating the data worked without any problems. It feels just as fast as the internal SSD, maybe even faster in some cases. If the fan is already running when the Mac starts up, the temperature remains very moderate (so far a maximum of 50-54 degrees). The only downside are the plastic panels on the front and rear. The front panel has noticeable play and "wobbles". That shouldn't be the case. For this reason, only just under four stars.
I don't understand digitec's pricing policy. I bought the disc for CHF 249. Two days later I have to pay Fr. 390.-- for it...???!!!! Does digitec want to create an incentive to buy the cheaper 1 TB disc or the 4 TB version, which is only about 60 francs more expensive (than the 2 TB disc)?

This review was created for a different variant: SE920 (1000 GB)
More expensive than other brands with the same capacity, but it's worth the price for its speed and good looks. I hope it lasts.
