Not convincing at all
I bought a new headset after about 12 years of Sennheiser. Unfortunately, I have made this misstep here. Sound quality and everything absolutely bad.
As already mentioned in the pros and cons. One does not want to make everything bad at Astro.
Weight, comfort and appearance are wonderful. However, everything that is important in the field of gaming is bad. The sound quality is not comparable with a Sennheiser (or today Epos) headset. The sound clarity just as little.

I have a thousand times preferred to keep my Fiio headphones, which I even bought here at Digitech. For this reason, I'm not even giving it a zero rating, let alone a 5, because of the noise and difficulty in configuration.
Subjective opinion
I used a plantronics years ago, and then used a very basic headset absolutely non game oriented.
When i purchased this for essentially fps games i cant say i noticed a huge improvment, even trying different preset available (thezeference) and, in my own personal opinion, it does not really match the asked price to be honest (CHF 245 at the time of purchase)Gaming

A nice and comfortable headset in itself
Scenario: PS4 party and game - music connected via PC/AUX to MixAmp.
The noise of the AUX connection is unfortunately unbearable, so a filter has to be bought and plugged in between:

Furthermore, I have been told several times that my voice is choppy, after switching to "quieter environment" in the software provided by Astro, it should be better.
Unfortunately, the headset is not a plug-and-play device, which is what I would expect from such a device.

Best headset for gaming
Since I started playing CoD with this headset, it's much more fun again. If you set the EQ correctly via a PC (you can easily find the settings to download on the internet), you can hear the enemies running from afar and know exactly where they are. The material is also very well made and of high quality.

Only GOOD!
Even during the first voice chat, everyone noticed that I had a new headset because the voice quality is much better than with a PS headset.
