We live over 4 floors with reinforced concrete ceilings. So far I have made various attempts with Powerline (Zyxel, 2x Devolo, Netgear, most recently TPLink). At the beginning, it always worked reasonably well, but over time there were longer and longer interruptions.
With the 3000 generation, the time seemed to have come for a WLAN mesh. The setup is very simple - especially with an existing or newly acquired FritzBox 7590. In fact, with clever positioning of 2 of these repeaters, we have quite good coverage throughout the house. However, our thick ceilings require that one of the 3000s is placed on the stairs and cannot be hidden. The ugly plastic housing with its cheap feel is unpleasant to look at.
There are good and simple instructions online, e.g. if you want to connect the repeaters in series.
To get into the last corners, I used another 1200 repeater (directly on the FritzBox, actually as a WLAN adapter for a desktop PC) and the old 7490 FritzBox as a repeater (in series behind the two 3000s) for another desktop at the very back. After setting up the system, it takes a while until all wireless connections are established, but then: it works, good speeds, stable and everything is great....
.... until almost exactly 24 hours later .... One desktop PC on the 7490 gets 0 signal. The other devices work, but slower. When I plug an old 2.4GHz USB plug into the desktop, it works again.... pretty much exactly 24 hours later .... the same thing. I notice that the 5GHz channel has gone bye-bye. Since the 7490 is the only one in the mesh that only uses the 5GHz band, it has zero reception. The other parts only transmit on 2.4GHz. Since then, the 5GHz band has been down for 10 minutes every day at the same time. According to avm (which was a bit harder to find), this is because the devices "occasionally" have to scan the band for priority radar networks. A hint would be great.

The overall operation is correct, the installation is within the reach of anyone. On the other hand, the operation is a bit random. A camera that is 5 or 6 meters away from the repeater connects curiously to the router which is about 20 meters away. My phone remains connected on the main router while I am more than 5 minutes away from one of the repeaters (2400). When I come back near the router, the phone remains connected to the 2400 for another 10 to 15 minutes before changing the connection on the router. Same thing for the 3000.
In short, far from perfect.

Looks much better standing on a desk than a 1750E. Performance is identical to the 1750E through several walls. Commissioning is simple.
Very good integration into the Fritz!Mesh. The two LAN connections, e.g. for NAS and computer, are also very practical. This way, the two devices do not have to communicate via WLAN (WLAN only used for Internet access).
works reliably with good performance for the price

Works tip top and gives good results of internet reception.
Since I connected the repeater to a socket in the living room via Lan, there is only one Lan connection for further use. One more would be great, but it is a wifi repeater after all - so it's not that big a deal.

The device works great and we now have flawless wifi reception for the whole house. Unfortunately it took me a long time to pair the devices.
if you live in a house with many nooks and crannies, this wifi amplifier is great.
Plug it into the mains socket in the desired location and you're done.

Perfect complement to the "Fritz!Box". Very user-friendly setting options as you are used to from "Fritz! Regular updates guaranteed and reliable connection.
I have already bought a few and find AVM very good anyway.

Really gets my equipment going in the vicinity. TOP!
works perfectly, but I had to switch off the 5GHz network because otherwise "no internet" was displayed almost every day.
After entering the IP address in the menu according to the instructions and the SSID and WLAN identifier, everything is as you need it for the time being.

Simply good and easy to set up.
