Expectations not met!
Plastic bracket cover near the auricle on the right side first chipped paint, then some time later broken outside. On the left side back in the same place as on the right, paint also begins to splinter.
Have used the headphones while watching TV and on conference calls under normal use.
The device has never fallen on the floor or otherwise been overloaded (because is too expensive). But was in daily use.
Research has shown that this is apparently a known problem. I am no longer convinced that I have bought a high quality product, I am used to something different from Beyerdynamic.

I'm a big fan of BeyerDynamic wired headphones and own several, including a DT 880 Edition that is almost 10 years old. I've been looking for a Bluetooth/ANC headset for a long time to be able to isolate my listening when travelling on the train or in town (or just at home doing the housework) without having to turn the volume up too high.
I tested the famous Sony XM3 and 4 (too colourful sound for my taste, too much bass) and the Bose QuietConfort 45 (the ANC hurt my ears). I automatically turned to the BeyerDynamic Lagoon when I discovered it (without having tested it).
The good points:
I love the sound quality. The ANC was appreciable and sufficiently powerful when I was on the train or in town (not as powerful as the Sony XM3 or 4 to have compared). The headphones were perfectly comfortable, both the support on the skull and the earpads against the ears. I could easily wear it for 5-6 hours without any problem.
The Bluetooth works well and the battery life was very good.
The (very) bad points:
The durability of its construction is catastrophic...
The plastic immediately gave me that "cheap" feeling to the touch. Also, the colour of the plastic does not match the picture.
I bought the first Lagoon here on Digitec (August 2021) and one of the arms (the C-shape) that are attached to the earpads broke after 9 months when I was going to put it on my head (I have a rather narrow head). The leatherette on the skull support also came off 1-2 weeks before it broke. On closer inspection, I noticed that there were lots of cracks in the temples and the plastic of the headband. I returned it. The second one, taken from the BeyerDynamic website on November 1, 2022, broke in March 2023... and in April 2023, the leatherette fell off. A real shame...

Noise canclling worse than Sony. Headset can not be used while doing chores
I wanted a wireless headset so that I can listen to music while doing housework. Unfortunately, this does not work because the headset constantly interrupts the playback on the PC, although the hands do not touch the touchpad on the Orhmuschel. Absolute disaster ...

Price / performance and sound is not right
For the price I would take a good look at the Sony XM4. Too bad that the sound quality does not come close to the proven and loved by me Beyer DT series.

Sound quality is a little worse than what I'm used to from beyerdynamic is probably the bluetooth. however, the sound is still excellent. Design is a matter of taste I like. feels much cheaper than my other beyerdynamics products was already a little disappointed. have the assumption that here a similar defect could arise as with my old travel headphones. because the very sensitive place where the ear cups are attached are made of plastic.
As initially feared, the plastic is broken. Therefore, I can only recommend these headphones for people who are very careful with their electronics. For the price, the product is not robust enough. If they had made it the same as the other headphones and 10fr more expensive it would be an absolute buy recommendation.Pro

Extremely happy with these headphones, only complaint I have is that the bluetooth connection with multiple devices doesn't work well for me. Each time I connect it with my laptop the headphones don't get recognized by my phone and I need to pair them again

Good headphones for on the go.
Very good price/performance. Doesn't look so classy, but sounds good! The touchpad responds well. But I usually need the phone to operate the headphones. Now and then the transmission stops when you move your head and the built-in sensor thinks you have taken off the headphones... rather 'fancy' for my taste, not to mention unnecessary. Beyond that, the 'Lagoon' is highly recommended.

Very good all round
All-round recommendable, unfortunately no other headphones can be connected via cable to share music with someone else.
