Top device at a bargain price. Installation go...
Top device at a bargain price. Installation works without any problems. Can be operated conveniently from any computer connected to the network and copies or scans can be sent to the selected computer or loaded directly onto a USB stick. Absolutely recommendable.

The thing is relatively cheap, but the installation could be made a bit more user-friendly. The print quality is, as expected at this price, unfortunately quite poor. With pictures (no, I'm not printing pictures for my non-digital photo album) you can see gradations and lines quite clearly. For certain functions (e.g. scanning) you have to install additional Brother programs (and no, I don't mean the device driver :-D). When you insert the driver CD, you are bombarded with a bunch of unnecessary software that screams for your attention like a little child all the time. Interestingly, the MFC-J470DW prints much faster with the Microsoft driver than with the Brother driver. Only unfortunately, I then lack the scan function, which is why I still have to rely on Brother's screaming children. Unfortunately :-(
Better spend a little more money, but certainly don't use it to buy a cheap printer from Brother.Pro

Recommended colour inkjet printer
Good network-compatible printer with acceptable print quality. Only a few small streaks in the printout mar the otherwise very positive picture.
