    Very good amateur camera

I bought the camera because of its good Live-View features! The rotatable touch display also helps me enormously in my work as a street photographer. Despite the plastic, I find the camera very well made and it also lies well in the hand, although not as well as my 5dII, because the handle is not as wide, but it is V I E L lighter! I like the image quality very much, even at high sensitivities up to 6400.you read a lot about the limited dynamic range,e.g. in DXO ! Compared to my Nikon D7200, however, I have to say that the difference in practice is only slight! The Canon has a little more noise in RAW, but the pictures are a little sharper. With the appropriate post-processing you can achieve comparable results. What I don't like is the automatic iso function, which you can only switch on and off, nothing else. Also, the battery is much too small.

    Very satisfied!

I am very happy with this product. High quality, beautiful, not too heavy to carry it on trips every day and a super resolution. Price/performance is right - I would buy again and again!

    Trying it is adopting it!

I'm not a professional photographer but I know how to recognize good pictures and good equipment. I bought this camera and I'm very happy with it. It is great. I'm a beginner but my job requires beautiful pictures - so I don't live from my pictures, but I need them and this camera is GREAT! Try it and you'll love it!

    Good to very good

Generous rubber on the thumb recess, the handgrip and the left side of the housing give me the necessary grip in one or two hands.
The 760D has an additional information display on the top that informs about the most important
shooting settings and the battery level even in the dark, as it can be illuminated by a button. The menus do not puzzle me as a user.
The power lever, which sits below the programme dial, is a little unfortunate.
The 760D comes up trumps with a second control dial.
Those who prefer the 760D as a stand-alone camera and the advanced user interface will certainly have more fun with the 760D than with the 750D.
    Conclusion
With the EOS 760D, Canon now splits its hobby DSLR class into two very similar sister models. Those who like to make manual adjustments more often will be better off with the 760D, especially thanks to the two dials and the info display. Otherwise, the two models shine more with their balance than with highlights. They offer a good overall package in terms of equipment, speed and workmanship as well as ergonomics, without particularly standing out from the (remaining) mass of hobby DSLRs. The new 24-megapixel sensor delivers good image quality with high resolution, but at high sensitivities beyond ISO 1,600 Canon lags slightly behind the competition in terms of image quality.

positive buying recommendation. The best value for money.

the requirement is for semi-professional still life shots, especially design objects and lamps, and it is ideal for this, especially thanks to the shooting via powerbook.

    interesting, lightweight camera.

An enormous number of setting options, but once again the programmable long exposure and the possibility of time-lapse recording are missing. The cameras always have to be remote-controlled or "hacked" for this.

    Pro

    • Extensive documentation on CD
    • LCD screen

    Contra

    • Programmable long exposure and time-lapse photography not possible

Small, handy and good image quality

Good image quality with appropriate lenses. The shoulder display is absolutely top! The display on the back can be switched off and only used for image review, which saves a massive amount of battery.

    Pro

    • Great pictures up to iso 1600
    • Shoulder display top
    • Battery lasts easily over 1000 pictures

    Contra

    • 24MP cannot be utilised (see dxomark.com) and produces unnecessarily large RAW files
