It is a total buy recommendation from me!

Super device at a great price.
The Denon AVR-X2500H has everything you need for a good home cinema and even more.
I am more than satisfied. I am thrilled with the sound! You can see what a good reciever can do.

    excellent value for money

Excellent product. I switched from a 10 year old Yamaha AVR to this Denon, and I must admit I was very impressed by the quality of this product. The ergonomics for the start-up are formidable, and the musicality remarkable, in particular its mastery in the Hi-Fi listening of music, and its capacities to sublimate the stereo sound in "surround" with the recognition of the voices to be diffused only on the front speakers, and certain melodies distributed on the surround speakers. Bluffing!
Otherwise, with Magnat home cinema speakers from 20Hz-55'000Hz, it's a real cinematographic dimension that invites you into your home...

I would buy again at any time!

super all-rounder, especially for retro gaming.
Who doesn't know - far too many devices and so few inputs on the TV. This receiver solves this problem with 7 inputs (plus one front, which doesn't count in my opinion).
    The
setup wizard is so competent in calibrating the room that it recognises cables connected the wrong way round. Wow.

Works with everything I've tested so far.

    Very good!

All in all, a perfect system. I have connected these with Tannoy XT8F. The sound is particularly good! But you have to set it up properly. Just plug and play can be a bit disappointing.

    • ACR HDMI
    • Sound quality
    • Bi-amping, Atmos Surround.
    • Easy to use
    • Audessey calibration

    Contra

    • Bluetooth is a bit strange
    • With standard settings sounds solala

    Phone preamp, Eco, good operation.

User interface slightly better than the AVR1912, otherwise almost all the same. Denon deliberately does without funny animations that are nice at first, but later just annoying. I connected it with bi-amping to two B&W CM8 + CM5 and CM centre, so I can't report anything about Atmos. Unfortunately you can't bi-amp the centre! It's a pity because it will get the most bass without a sub. My OneforAll remote controls the unit excellently. The colour buttons easily switch between surround modes and Direct and Pure Direct. I like the new eco stand. It gets much less hot and power consumption is down 50%.
Phono Pre-Amp is a huge plus!

    Pro

    • Phono Pre-Amp
    • Less power consumption with Eco
    • Hammer sound

    Contra

    • If you expect stylish menus, you'll be disappointed.
    • Biamping for centre missing!
    • User manual quite unclear in many places

    Clean thing, super sound !

After a long time of trying and adjusting (incl. BA), I am now super satisfied. For less technically experienced music lovers rather NO. Many setting parameters for fine tuning ... TOP with Denon and Heos APP!

    Pro

    • Price / Possibilities / App's /
    • Fun in conjunction with Spotify

    Contra

    • Unfortunately only 4 fixed programmes
    • Gets pretty hot !
    • Elaborate until all settings fit

Super AV receiver, definitely worth the price.

I am very satisfied. Simple setup, great sound quality. Bi-amping of the front speakers possible without any problems. Several devices can be played directly via the AV receiver, tiptop. I would buy again at any time.

    Purchase recommendation

Top device. However, I bought it for 449 at digitec. There are certainly better offers for 690.
