This is a great AV receiver. I switched from the AVR-4311 to this one because I needed 4k upscaling and Dolby Atmos. Overall, a great product with minor flaws that I hope will be fixed in the software.

The AVR receiver definitely lives up to the outstanding test reports and especially at the Black Friday price the price/performance ratio was simply unbeatable.

The thing does what it's supposed to. Only tried 5.1 so far, as my Atmos speakers have not arrived yet.

I can clearly hear the difference in sound between the Denon AVR-X6300H and the Denon AVR-X2500H (7.2 channel, FM).
The few extra hundred are worth it in my opinion.
I also wouldn't want to do without 11.2.

Once the installation and adjustment is done... what a pleasure

It's a top device and if you've taken advantage of the many promotions recently, it's also available at a great price.

Simply awesome! I used to have the Yamaha rx462 and the denon puts it in the shade! I use the device with kef speakers...

I bought this avr about a month ago, on 12.05.2017, to replace my Onkyo TX NR 636 and after much thought, I think I made the right choice.
The sound of the X6300H is really excellent and its calibration is very simple.
My configuration and the following: 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos, and I also made the update towards auro 3D audio directly on the site of Denon for 160 francs.
The Dolby atmos and Auro 3D is really incredible and I am really immersed in the film and the sound what a sensation.
I found myself rediscovering my old DVD's and CD's. Those who want an excellent AVR with 11.2 function, I think will also make a very good choice
And cherry on the cake Denon announced on 01.02.2017 an update for the X6300H allowing to activate the passthrough of the formats HDR Dolby Vision and Hybrid-Log Gamma (HLG).
However, we will have to be patient, Denon plans to roll out this update by the end of 2017, early 2018.

This review was created for a different variant: Avr-X6300h (11.2 Channel, FM)
Top machine, this machine really has everything on board. There is nothing more to say. I am completely convinced.

The unit is operated on an XBox (4k) and only has to drive a centre speaker and two small rear surround speakers, the rest is operated via pre-outs. Nevertheless, the unit gets so hot that you can only touch it on the surface above for about 1-2 seconds before you burn your fingers. My previous unit (Pioneer LX-57) barely got lukewarm in the same setup. Under no circumstances should you stack another device (not even a Blu-ray player and especially not the XBox, which has no feet to allow air to circulate).
I can't really judge the sound because I drive the front speakers via a much higher quality pre- and power amplifier.
