Perfect for me
For me, "only" the Spotify Connect connection was interesting, with which I can control the boxes directly from Spotify and then no longer need an app or another device that sends the music to the boxes.
Which is why a Sonos box was out of the question for me (apart from the fact that I wanted a power-free box).
What I find "suboptimal" is that I can only connect 1 box via the Bluetooth connection (and not stereo, as for example via Spotify).
All in all, however, it is perfect for me.Pro

Very good product, but a little expensive.
Another problem is that you can't control several groups at once via Spotify.
I bought it in a two-for-one set, so the price is very fair.
The app is usable but you could include more features like alarm clocks.

I wouldn't recommend it for such price...
The quality of the speakers is ok but there are different things such as delay using bluetooth and pretty bad android application. Additionaly for such price it should already include the battery...

I highly recommend it, especially if you want to create a top-notch multiroom system.
Very good product, requires a little time to adapt but it quickly becomes very intuitive. The possibilities are numerous and it is possible to combine the various Denon Heos speakers, including the sound bar with subwoofer for the TV, to make a very complete multiroom system. The Heos application is easy to use but could be improved.
Personally I love the pairing mode which allows you to combine 2 speakers in stereo mode as if they were one device, the sound becomes really excellent.
The price is relatively high, but if there is a special offer, don't hesitate to get at least one pair.Pro

Small - but Ohoo!
I am extremely satisfied with the speakers.
They are perfect for use in small rooms as a single speaker solution (HEOS 1).
The sound is rich and powerful - a real treat for the ears!
I have bought 2 pieces and will build on them.
The only downer (is known): the installation is not exactly user-friendly.
However, once the speakers are in operation, one gladly takes this hurdle.Pro

Solid speakers but not enthusiastic.
We argue about the sound quality at home. Half the family thinks it's wonderful - the rest aren't thrilled - but everyone can live with it. Problem-free installation. Bluetooth also works without problems - but has a significant delay = not suitable for movies. The biggest disadvantage is the software / app, which leaves a lot to be desired. Spotify works wonderfully because the full functionality of Spotify can be used. The rest is marginal; for example, I haven't found out how to find and play podcasts via the app (in any order).
What I do like is the ease with which it can be moved to a new room.Pro

Very unsatisfactory
Heos can only be controlled via the app, the app is unstable, unintuitive and requires access to the mobile phone data, with UE the app works without any access.

Price Quality is not right
I have connected them to a Samsung tv and the sound is not synchronised even though it is only two metres away. They are unusable.
To be able to create a group with both rooms is super tedious.

Absolutely recommended purchase!
Great sound, as you would expect from Denon. We have 2 Heos 1 HS2 (kitchen and children's room) and one Heos 7 HS2 (living room - phenomenal sound!) and are thrilled. The whole thing is now paired with a Google Nest Mini via Bluetooth for voice control (for radio, Spotify, weather, news, phone calls, etc.). Good app that is constantly updated.

A mixed bag that could be fixed with software updates
The speaker itself sounds pretty decent if you can get it playing when you want. I have 2 set up with a Heos amplifier paired for my home cinema.
Setting it up was simple, but using them on a daily basis is not the easiest. Sometimes needs time to detect all speakers in the house. Grouping does not always work. Speakers are not always detecable in apps like Spotify and refuse to play. You cannot stream other audio in non supported apps like Youtube.
The biggest grime i have with the product is the volume and reliability - related to software bugs.
I usually use a volume between 7 and 20 on a scale of 100. Everything higher is unbearable in our apartment. However using the phone volume buttons will skip the volume in 10 point increments, making it unusable.
We had one issue where we left our apartment and wanted to play music via bluetooth in the car. Instead the control somehow connected to the speaker, setting them to 100% volume as we left for vacation. We were not aware and once you leave the wifi you cannot see the device. Our landlord had to break in and turn off the electicity. Now we always unplug them when we leave the house...Pro
