Photos not usable from an adult point of view

    totally useless

once used in the sea. the device leaked and despite properly closed flap filled up and no longer works. battery contact points naturally oxidised and screen filled with water.
disappointing, for the price i definitely expect
    more.

    Contra

    • Not waterproof

Better photos can be taken with every potato.

I had the camera in my hand briefly to set it up for my girlfriend (she also bought it). The picture quality is not convincing at all. The dynamic range is relatively small and the photos are relatively noisy.
    In addition,
a large part of the picture was blurred, even though I was standing in the sun in broad daylight.

The user interface is confusing: you can choose resolutions between 2MP and 48MP, but unfortunately all resolutions from 12MP are interpolated. The same applies to the video mode: the camera is capable of FullHD (1920x1080), but the resolutions 2.7K (2688x1520) and 4K (3840x2160) are "only" interpolated.
You can deactivate the date stamp - at least. The flap to load the camera or read the images from the SD card is relatively fiddly. I can well imagine that the camera is no longer waterproof if not used properly.

If you don't want to exceed the purchase price of 100, I think it would be better to buy a used GoPro or DJI action camera. These cameras are more robust and better protected against water than the EasyPix. These camera sensors also give more when you want to print the pictures.

Main reason for the purchase: gift for the godchild. I am curious how long the camera will survive.

    Pro

    • Relatively compact

    Contra

    • The camera promises 4k video resolution, but only interpolates from FullHD.
    • The sensor is not convincing.
    • The flap on the camera is relatively fiddly.
    • ISO only goes from 100-400.

Top, but the microSD card is not included

Please note that the microSD card is not supplied with the device. Remember to have one if you want to use the device right away.
