Advantages and disadvantages, but still interesting!
Despite some disadvantages, the print and scan resolution has moved me to buy this device, which is not found in this price range in the competition. So if you attach great importance to print quality, high-resolution scans, you will be fully served with this device. However, knowledge of image resolution, colour profiles and a little experimentation in the printer menu are prerequisites. Only then will this device convince.
By the way, I did my own print tests under macOS Catalina/Preview with digital photos in RGB mode and the remaining original Canon "Photo Papier Plus Glossy II" - deliberately! The result is convincing!Pro

Don't regret buying
The print is excellent. What I do have some complaints about is the volume. Filling the inks is a breeze.

The machine was dirty, onion skins in the printer. I was cheated! The printer does not work. A cheek!

Suddenly stopped printing color
This printer is hardly eco friendly if it just stops working without warning just outside of warrentie . We now have a printer full of ink we have to throw away because the printer is not repairable. Not repairable means it will cost more to send the printer away for repair than to buy a new one.

At first it stopped printing cyan. After the power cleaning, it no longer prints anything at all.

What's the point if you can refill the paint if after a year or so the colors dry up? Even a power cleaning doesn't help anymore.
My old printer only gave up the ghost after more than 15 years. This one after one year!

I have been annoyed with expensive inks for a long time. The environmental impact of a lot of plastic around little ink and software that wants to replace all colours at the same time has added to this.
When the inks in the old Ducker ran out, this gem came into the house. It will take three years until it pays for itself, but it is already a pleasure.
The ink levels can be easily read at the front. They probably don't need to be refilled, because they last for 3000 pages. The printer also does everything better than the old one. A joy.Pro
