Epson ET-4750 EcoTank Unlimited
Ink tank, Colour
Small & fine, and frugal. Plenty of ink included. Prints briskly in "Normal" mode, "High Quality" is a bit slower. Scans dutifully to DropBox or directly to computer. Satisfied so far (3 weeks in use).

Good satisfaction with the product, only the user-friendliness leaves something to be desired. When printing envelopes or changing to other paper sizes, you have to make the change on the printer itself every time. I don't know this from other Epson printers! The change in the printer properties was automatically transmitted to the printer. Why did this change suddenly happen with Epson?

As a printer for an SME and a replacement for a Brother MFC-J4620DW which, after years of good service, no longer wanted to print the ink cartridges. Scope of delivery of the EPSON incl. a complete replacement set of CMYK colours.
Commissioning and networking via WLan was straightforward, refilling the four ink tanks was no problem. Scanning, printing and copying yield positive results (fax not activated). Volume, wake-up from standby, print and scan speed all fit without complaint.
A very successful product with many good functions and easy to use.

Disappointing for print speed and quality of both scans and prints. I compared it with an older Canon MP630 inkjet printer which beats it in all areas except ink consumption and startup. In photo/document printing/scanning the Canon is still far ahead. And I compared it to my other printer, an HP X476dw laser. The Epson looks like a child's toy in all areas of performance. Laser consumption and consumable prices are better, speed, quality, availability, sheet loading... Everything is better except the size. This Epson ET-4750 is therefore positioned between two worlds, the amateur domestic use with low printing needs and a more demanding use in printing needs but it does not achieve these objectives. Too expensive for amateur use and not very qualitative. Too little price difference with a real laser which is the only comparison to have because the ET-4750 is definitely not made for photo printing (bad scanS, marks during printing...).

Top device (ink consumption, size, function), print quality only with slight losses

So far everything is fine. Unfortunately, the previous product dried up during the summer holidays... The guarantee helped!

I bought this device mainly for cost/benefit reasons, so I wouldn't have to spend so much money on ink. It is small and compact.
Print image is good, ink refill easy and without smearing. I haven't tried photo printing yet... but there are probably better printers for that.
I found the set-up a bit tedious, as it makes sense to download the Epson drivers (also for scanning!). Funnily enough, Epson still supplies this device with an installation CD-ROM... ;-)

I am very satisfied with my new printer so far and can recommend it. It is sufficient for the home office without any problems. Thanks to the ink tanks, you don't have to keep buying new cartridges.

The multifunction printer is advertised by Digitec as "Duplex Scan = Yes". This is not the case. This makes it a complete mistake for me. Goes back.

I wanted to print 250 sheets at a time without worrying. But after 50 sheets, paper flies to the floor.
Then the print quality decreases DURING printing. Not like with inkjet printers after you haven't printed for a while.

Easy to use but no colour printing after a month, no printing after a year even though there is still plenty of ink

The idea behind it is ingenious, the implementation unfortunately a bit lame.
The printer is definitely not for heavy users or office use. With an increased throughput, it also has more problems with the sheet feed on both the printer and scanner sides.
In addition, one could also do without certain packaging materials such as plastic, if one were to write ECO.

Very satisfied, we also have the previous model which is very bulky with the side tanks. But it has been doing its job perfectly for a year and despite a lot of colour brochures with pictures, we haven't had to refill the inks yet. This model is compact and fits everywhere. Only the eternal black is boring and stupid. After all, it's a COLOUR printer ;-)
Print quality is better and sharper than the previous one and in normal quality it prints quite quickly.

Great printer, very versatile. It's really nice to print in colour at such low cost. The design is elegant and takes up very little space.

I've already had the same printer for 18 months and this is the second one I've bought. It's hard to beat the cost per page. The printer is a little more expensive to buy, but the anchor supplied lasts forever and the cost of refill bottles is unbeatable. If you make more than 300 copies per month... you will already have amortized your purchase in less than a year... considering the price of the cartridges of competing printers.

Have had the printer for 2 years and one month now.
The print is ok, although it has become worse lately.
I often scan documents (about 10-20 pages per month).
Have unfortunately missed warranty claims because the scan feeder has recently stopped working properly. The feed rollers are dragging and I have to feed the sheets by hand more and more often. I've had occasional problems in the past but now it's a real pain.

I am basically satisfied with the printer. However, I cannot understand the excellent test results of the computer magazines.
Depending on the Mac OS version, duplex was always on or not selectable (now seems ok under BigSur).
As a frequent Excel user, I am particularly bothered by the fact that the border lines in tables are displayed very badly. The standard line is too bold and the fine line is not narrower (see photo).
The product comes with two ink sets for a total of 14,000 pages. In my case, however, "black" is already empty after 3072 pages. That's a long way from the 7,000.
Today, I would probably go for an HP PageWide.

Since I was annoyed for almost 2 years with the ET-3700, with the cumbersome display to be operated with arrow keys and OK button, I now switched to the ET-4750. Both printers with the ink tanks, without having to constantly change cartridges, are very productive, the quality also (for photos), perfect for daily use. Now, however, I appreciate the touchscreen on the ET-4750 for operation, although the option via mobile phone apps is just as easy. Since Epson doesn't have an "ET-A4 printer" with a touch screen and no fax, I went for it anyway, even though I don't need the fax part.

Home office forced me to buy new printer with scanning possibilities, and wifi connectivity so I can print directly from computer/iphone and scan to computer/email.
Big and probably a very costly mistake to go with this model - very flimsy feeling, touch screen is way too small and the print speed is slow. I spent a lot of time researching and was convinced by good ratings from other users, which I am now convinced are either paid adverts, or fake reviews. Stay away!

SuperPrinter. It helped us a lot during the lockdown.
The filling in the tank lasts forever and the four of us printed a lot.
Would never buy anything else than this kind of printer again.
When I think of the money we used to spend on these cartridges, it's a real step forward.
