Fitbit Versa Special Edition

I have tried several models of smartwatches: Apple Watch Series 2, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and now Fitbit Versa. Although the other smartwatches are certainly more elegant and "beautiful", Fitbit Versa is the only usable smartwatch for the Android platform (and thus comes close to the functionality of the Apple Watch). By functionality I mean that, for example, notifications are displayed after vibrating and then raising the arm. The Samsung Watch, for example, vibrates and displays the notification immediately - by the time you typically lift your arm, the notification has already disappeared...
BUT: I consider the privacy of Fitbit to be the biggest disadvantage; data (incl. health data) is permanently exchanged with the manufacturer; use without a Fitbit connection is not possible.

Crashes all the time, always restarts for no reason and suddenly vibrates and can only be made to stop by a complete rest.
Sucks
Many comments refer negatively to things like "Credit card does not work with my provider" or "Many apps not usable".
In my opinion, you have to inform yourself enough about a product before you buy it. And if you know that you can NOT pay with your credit card with the watch and that you can't use some apps that you could use on WearOS or an Apple Watch, but you still decide to buy the watch because you want a good combination of smartwatch and sports watch, then you are buying a top watch for a reasonable price with the Fitbit Versa.
Sports are well analysed and tracked, the pedometer is very accurate (with normal deviations), the heart rate monitor has always measured my pulse very reliably and accurately and I get notifications from EVERY app on my phone. The sleep tracking is also pretty good in my opinion, I have also acquired a better sleep rhythm thanks to the Versa. All in all, the perfect combo for me. The battery lasts me just under 5 days, which is also perfectly fine for me.
The only negative points: No onboard GPS and the Fitbit app always has to run in the background so I can receive messages.
Otherwise a top watch.

A Fitbit that I myself have been waiting for for a long time. It offers the essential functions of a smartwatch, Fitbit Pay supports popular Swiss free credit cards (e.g. mcumulus) and useful apps complement the good basic offer.
Two minor wishes remain: When running, spoken usage data should be transferred to the headphones and the replacement bands of the Special Edition should be reorderable.
