Recommended for small offices
Printer and scanner that does what it is supposed to do. Scanner works 1A fast and the quality of the printer is very good.
Printer already 1 week only makeshift usable. No indication from HP when it will finally solve its problems with WIN 10.
HP currently can't manage to install the printer on a modern + up-to-date WIN 10 Pro PC.
- I spent hours testing because I never experienced anything like this with HP in 30 years.
- HP then took care of me with a manual installation for printing.
- Later HP also installed remote scanning.
After installing the latest HP installation software this morning (1 week after the 1st attempt) scanning again does not work etc. What is wrong with HP?
- Why doesn't HP inform you before installing that WIN 10 will not accept their package?
- Why doesn't HP provide an immediate solution to the software problem?
- Why does HP allow the same problem to happen again 1 week later when installing + partially breaking the manual installation + configuration in the process?Does (very well!) what it promises!

WLAN leaves something to be desired
Is not recognized by the computer for a very long time. Print jobs are sometimes executed only 10 minutes later (when the computer and printer via WLAN find each other again.
When scanning to email, the email address must always be tediously selected. A quick button would simplify this, but that is wishful thinking.Contra

Best home printer I have ever had.
Prints very reliably and, unlike my previous inkjet printer, it does not need any maintenance. Unfortunately, the printer only scans on one side.

Nothing to complain about in terms of printing. Easy to set up and use.
I was misled by the HP nomenclature and their unclear product page on the scanner. I thought that the M426 models had the duplex scanner, but only the M426fdw has this feature.
I have to say that I am not sure what to expect from the M426, but it is a good idea to check the name of the product page.Pro

Great device, would buy it again in a heartbeat!
I needed this machine to replace my old Laserjet M1536dnf. I am very positively surprised! The device can be configured very well via the web interface. Ideal for people who don't want to share everything with the rest of the world and also like to deactivate unnecessary features.
On the software side, the device was uncomplicated and easy to set up - as usual with HP. I couldn't understand the problems mentioned by others, but I don't use Win10 either.
I am very positively surprised by the scan suite, where some useful functions have been added.Pro

is a bit cumbersome that the duplex function is switched on by default (as with every printer)............ no one needs that. otherwise works wonderfully.
