Picked up the Htc One in red 2 days ago, everything went well, including the subscription.

Before that, I wasn't quite sure whether it was a good decision to buy it in red for me (a boy).
But when I opened the box I realised
that it was a very good decision.
The red is really luscious and everything is well made.

You should first charge it well for at least 6 hours, even if the green light is already on.

I did it overnight and the battery lasts.

The sound is overwhelming and louder and better than other mobile phones and tablets.

The camera is also great and it's a lot of fun to take pictures with it.

I recommend this smartphone to everyone, especially in red!
It is also very nice to touch.

The only weak point for me is that it's a bit too big for one hand to reach from top to bottom with the thumb without "shaking".

No other can hold a candle to him. After all...

No one else can hold a candle to it. After all the Nokias, Motorolas, Sonys, Samsung and Huaweis, this is an unprecedented "big bang". All you Apple disciples and others who are submissive to all kinds of advertising: here's a product with an incredible feel, sensational display and great battery life.
Yes, and if, as below, the device is used every day by a plebeian, then it must look like the "sow". If I don't wash my car for four months, it won't make the best "trap" either.

I am very satisfied with the device, the design and the workmanship are very beautiful and of high quality. The display is brilliant, super picture quality.

The device runs smoothly and quickly. The only downside is that
there is no option to insert an external memory card. A pity. Otherwise a TOP product.

Very classy and the battery lasts a long time since the update to 4.3.
Easily 24 hours with constant use (brightness 40%).

I also think HTC Sense 5.5 is great.

Absolutely top smartphone! For me the most beautiful on the market!

+ Beautiful and high-quality, very well-made casing. No gaps or similar.
+ Battery life mostly 1 day with heavy use and 2 days with normal use. Display
    on-time approx. 5-6 hours !!!!
+ Camera. It is fully in order. It takes usable photos even in low light and the video quality is good.
However, my old Lumia 920 takes better pictures!
+ Display. Sharp and one of the best at the moment. Compared to an LG G2, relatively small for its size. But of course it's enough.
+ Sound quality for smartphone speakers, top. Not louder than my Lumia in terms of volume, but definitely better in terms of quality. Headphones are also very good. But they don't come close to Beats. Logical
+ Voice quality is very good. I couldn't detect any noise or the like. One of the most important criteria for me. Logical is also a phone ;)

= Operation and software. Sense 5 can be quite appealing. Of course, it's a matter of taste. Not much personalisation compared to an S4 or G2. A pity really. But Sense 5.5 is supposed to come soon. Hope it changes something ;)
= Performance is quite good. However, the quad-core CPU doesn't quite deliver what it promises. Under certain circumstances, the device jerks more than my Lumia (dual-core 1.5 GHZ). This actually never jerks at all.
In contrast, the HTC boots faster than any other device.
It may be that the jerkiness is really only due to the software. At least I hope so!
= Reception-wise, it is absolutely usable. However, I noticed that if you cover the antennas on the back, reception is sometimes poor in regions where the mobile network is not well developed. But this is hardly ever the case on the Swisscom network.
= You can see every fingerprint on the display and it smears extremely. My Lumia is completely different. I can't explain it. But that's the way it is. Possibly because of the coating on the Lumia, which is very ...

After a good month, very satisfied with the phone. Until now I have only used HTC and have never been disappointed, but of course I couldn't leave out the One.

The only drawback is, as always, the battery, but that is
in need everywhere. However, I can get through a day without any problems.

The display is perfect, extremely sharp, bright and clear. The speakers are unrivalled and the quality of the phone is really good, it feels good in the hand. The many features like the infrared transmitter are also cool.

Super mobile phone! 1A purchase recommendation.

Hello, My 3rd HTC and still very satisfied...

    Hello,
My 3rd HTC and still very satisfied and the expectation exceeded. I have waited long enough for it and it has finally been in use since last Friday.

I can only agree with all these positive reports! I've been using
it continuously since Friday and the battery lasts really well. (I was curious because I thought it would suck the battery out because of the Full HD screen).

Material: Flawless - better than IPhone - and don't even get me started on the plastic Samsung...
If you want a high-quality mobile, buy the One.

BlinkFeed: Yes, it takes some getting used to, but you can set what you want to see, e.g. current and upcoming calendar entries.
If you don't need it, just use the 2nd tab as your home screen.

Touchscreen: The latest technology and no problems - I think every new mobile will more or less be able to keep up.

IR: It's really funny - works perfectly with my Samsung TV. But I don't need it because I tend to watch via the DigiBox. (btw, if your SetTop-Box is in the list, it will also work).

Sound: Very cool :) Even with bass amplification and clear sounds!
If you need the in-ear headphones, the sound quality is clearly brilliant (of course, it depends on the mp3, etc.).

Battery: I am amazed. As I said, always in use - WhatsApp runs every day and is used. Phone just as well. Games too, of course, and the battery lasts 2 days without problems - WiFi also permanently switched on. (Energy-saving mode is switched on)

Conclusion: If you want performance and quality in one - buy the HTC One.

I hope this has helped you, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

    Greetings

Quite a big smartphone but very handy, beautifully finished.

The fact that the battery is permanently installed doesn't bother me so far, as it runs perfectly, 1 day with Whatsapp, playing, videos, surfing...Easy!

    Display
: TOP, so far the best I have seen.

Photos: Very nice photos even in dark conditions. Sometimes almost brighter than it actually is. But that doesn't bother me.
Whether it takes better photos than the iPhone is debatable. In any case, super photos.

Video camera: Full HD videos. Thanks to the second microphone, which is on the back of the phone, the sound is also great.

Sound: It doesn't get any better than this! Super sound thanks to the two speakers. You don't have to hold out your hand while watching a video to "deflect" the sound ;) (Iphone)

Performance: A MACHINE! For HTC One owners, the word "jerky" is now a foreign word. Super smooth, everything is great even with graphically high-quality games.

Blink Feed: Not as bad as many people say. You can set yourself what topics you want, so my Blink Feed consists of Champions League only, various gadget sites or everything together. If it bothers you that Blink Feed occupies the start page, just change it...

Conclusion: In my opinion, there is nothing better at this point! TOP smartphone! Don't think about it, buy it ;)

I have been using my HTC One Silver since the beginning of May 2013 and I am still very satisfied. My battery still lasts a good 1 to 2 days depending on use.

From my experience, HTC Sync (Outlook) software is not a good
programme and I would recommend you to use MyPhoneExplorer (free).

    Apps: https://play.google.com/store...

    PC Client : http://www.fjsoft.at/download.p...

You can synchronise them either via WLAN or USB. It is important that you first adjust the settings optimally. This software can do a lot of things, e.g. remote and mobile phone control, texting, etc... What is also important is that you must leave the HTC driver and not remove it, otherwise it will no longer work.

Display size is just ideal for me, because at the beginning I thought it was a bit too big, but now I have to say that I made the right decision. I would continue to recommend this phone. If someone is a bit too expensive, then I would recommend LG Google Nexus 5, because I know someone who has that. The only downside is that it only has 16GB of memory. You can also set it up on Dropbox.

    Greetings Bandy

So after about 1.5 years, I only get upset about the mobile phone.
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi no longer worked after half a year.
It bothered me a lot when I was in New Zealand. Roaming is very expensive.
    The camera has an extreme
red cast in poor lighting, which ruins all the photos.
Now my screen is cracked and I will send it in for repair,
When I downloaded the latest system update from Android it just spun up. that means down again from 5.0.2 to 4.3.3. too bad.

So after about a week I got it back.
It was completely replaced under warranty because it was not repairable.
    I think that's very good.

I have now tested the device for 3 months.
Everyone gives it 4-5 stars and now I'm throwing it down to 3, sorry.

I am an absolute HTC fan. I have many a phone in my display case, including the first one from 2002, the
    SPV Classic.

The display is good, clear colours and good resolution, but unfortunately susceptible to dust in the background, wherever that may be.
The design is beautiful and wonderfully slim, but whether you like it is a matter of taste. It doesn't feel good in my hand at all.
Sound too quiet, not good at all compared to the Huawei Ascend D1 quad XL. I am disappointed.
Battery, very bad! 1.5 days maximum without doing much work, GPS, WLAN and some background functions switched off. We'll leave aside the fact that the battery is not replaceable, which I knew when I bought it.
A bit too slow for a quad-core phone, again compared to the Huawei.
Photo quality rather mediocre, somewhat pixelated.
GPS reception poor, but that could also be a defect.
The rest is more down to me, Android well, Win8 isn't that bad in comparison, but that's not the phone's fault.

One of the best at the moment.

    + Top display / resolution
    + Top design and workmanship
    + Many practical functions
    + Sound 1A

    - There are really no smart accessories
    - Case scratches relatively quickly
    - Dust between
camera and case after a short time
    - No update to Android version 4.2.2 yet (comes with 4.1.2)
    - Camera not what htc promises (too bad resolution)

Highly recommended for business use. For private use only, I would prefer the S4.

I can give the device 5 stars without reservation.
The best Android device I have owned so far.

Unfortunately, the device I received from Digitec is a device from the Netherlands. This does not affect the functionality,
but unfortunately it does affect the Android updates. In Switzerland, the update to 4.2.2 should have been completed a long time ago, but in the Netherlands the update is only just starting. So 4.1.2 is the motto.

This happened to me once at Digitec, with an SG1 from the Czech Republic, which in the end did not receive important updates at all.

I appreciate Digitec's low prices, but I think it would be fair if the fact of "foreign" phones was mentioned somewhere.
Unfortunately, I can't flash the Swiss firmware without losing the warranty...

    Still, great phone!

I have had the HTC One for a good 3 months now.

    + Processing
Unfortunately, I can't confirm the problems that others have. Whether the gap between the aluminium and the plastic edge is not completely flush (in the 200um
    range), well....

    ++Display
    The display is really unbeatable.

    ++Battery
The battery lasts me a good 24 hours.

What bothers me a little, is the in my opinion
second-rate call quality. Sometimes I have extreme difficulty understanding people. It's very likely that some compromises have been made in favour of the voluminous speakers. They really do deliver an extremely rich sound (compared to other smartphones).

    If the camera were better.
In practice, simply too few MP.
    Night photos are unbeatably good.
    Daytime or indoor
    photos rather close to average.
Unfortunately, the flash is not optimal either. Photos with flash are usually overexposed.
