5 stars out of 5 available. HTC knows how to impress and builds top hardware into a noble and beautiful casing while hiding the best camera in a smartphone. Better than the Pixel (slightly stronger colour reproduction) but still more neutral than the S8.

I've always been impressed with HTC, so I've bought every new flagship model since the HTC Desire series, except for the HTC9. The company has always combined the latest technology with sensible innovative solutions, which is why I switched from Samsung and Apple to HTC. HTC takes customer feedback seriously and therefore tries to respond to customer wishes in every new flagship. Accordingly, the U11 is again perfectly tailored to me as an end user. The fingerprint sensor is in the front (not like on the Galaxy S8), there are 2 touch buttons to the left and right of the sensor and the operating system is extremely fast. With this device, I have everything I need without any big gimmicks. There is also the squeeze function with which you can start apps that you can customise as you like. It is also possible to regulate the pressure or enter entire programme sequences (macros). For example, you can press hard to set snapchat to open and directly use a filter or set a burst mode for the camera. You take the smartphone out of your pocket, press the side and bang, you've immediately taken 6 pictures. It's something new and great, but not everyone needs it (you can also turn it off). The design is extremely high-quality and classy, simply beautiful.

A super device, actually. Looks good, fast, absolute first class camera and best sound ever from a mobile phone with the included adapter and a good headset!
I've had a few devices but this tops them all. Unfortunately also the slippage factor. I put it on the table, which was visually flat, and 10 minutes later I picked it up again, broken, without any further action on the part of the floor...

Completely satisfied with the phone. I find that this device has truly outstanding 4G and Wifi signal reception.

I've never been so satisfied with a smartphone, and I've had a few. I really like the design, especially that the black is really black. I hope Htc will keep updating the U11 so I can stay happy with it for a long time. With my HiFi system, I really appreciate the weighting of the audio quality. HTC builds a DAC into the adapter for the headphones and includes incredibly good in-ear headphones. The speakers are also unrivalled (except from their own company). The battery life never fails to impress me. Last 2 days and with Quickcharge it's full again within an hour.
