Pikachu!
The Nintendo New 2DS XL in Pikachu design is the very best Pokémon cream! If you grew up with Pokémon like I did (from the Gold Edition onwards), you'll love this edition. First of all, I used to play with the old Nintendo DS (starting with the very first Game Boy), so I have a lot of catching up to do. In contrast to the Switch, I still like the nostalgic feeling of these Nintendo consoles; in my opinion, it just feels better to play.
The included microSDHC is already in the device. Charging cable is also included; the Nintendo can be connected to WLAN without any problems (I tried it via my mobile phone hotspot). A great game console; it more than lives up to its price.Pro

Must say, this 3D ding braucht simply not, gave anyway only headache. The ds is robust (as you need it halt) and does what it should. From time to time I came with the right little finger on the power button, because I always do the so below ... But otherwise top device. Battery also holds out various Pokemon hours. Unfortunately, the Ds will probably die out soon, as the Pokemon series is continued on the Switch, which I can not understand.
Does what is expected
I actually wanted a 3DS and found out that they are no longer available. So I switched to the 2DS XL, which is actually identical in construction. It works perfectly, costs less than the 3DS because it doesn't have artificial 3D, but otherwise does exactly the same. But what I noticed, and that's why I only gave it 4 stars, is that the workmanship is a little worse. The best example is the fuzzy screen. Compared to its predecessor, not only is the 3D missing, but the quality of the device has also been somewhat neglected.
Otherwise, it's just a Nintendo DS of the last generation that does what you expect from it and is definitely a good alternative as a replacement for a broken or lost 3DS (unless you absolutely need the 3D xD).Very good product

Very good product. The advantages are numerous while the negative points are only marginal and do not represent real reasons to avoid this product.
Very good product overall. I think the design is good, the size of the screens are very nice and the grip is great, especially with the ZL and ZR buttons. The closed compartment for the game cartridge and the mini SD card is very welcome. I have no complaints about the battery life, which I find quite adequate.
However, I can point out some negative points. First of all, the style seems to me to be impractical to put back in place, as it needs a certain precise orientation to fit all the way to the bottom. Secondly, the circular pad marks the top part slightly after closing the console. However, these marks disappear by wiping the mark. Finally, the power button is too unresponsive for me, you really have to push it in for it to react.Pro

Just as much fun as the new 3DS but with a few less advantages.
Great design, great matte surfaces and is easy to hold.
Unfortunately, the card slot is not very practical, the screen is mounted a little cheaper than on the new 3DS and the speakers are not well placed, as you often play with your hand on them.

Classic in new
Good workmanship, the large displays are top and valuable, which is why it was stolen xD. Battery a little too small in my opinion.
