Nintendo Switch Pro Controller - Splatoon 3 Edition

One of the most comfortable and enjoyable controllers I have ever used. Also, unlike the Joy con, it has a D-pad.
The controller even connects to a PC or Android smartphones. However, it has an input lag on many Android devices, which makes it not really usable.

The Pro Controller is very well made and feels very good in the hand.
In addition, a USB-C charging cable is included.
He has a long battery life runs about 40 hours while playing Zelda :-)

I ordered a controller like this two weeks ago. I was really excited about it, but after connecting it to the console, I noticed that my character always runs to the bottom left in the game. This is very frustrating. Even after calibrating the joysticks unfortunately without success. "Tough luck" I thought and researched on the Internet. Seems to be a problem, which is more the rule than the exception. I then ordered another controller and believe it or not, exactly the same problem.
I am very disappointed in Nintendo for not doing anything about this when the problem is obvious. I will not order a third controller now and hope for a soon, next and improved version of this controller.
EDIT: I did order a third controller after all. With the Nintendo Switch update to version 10.0.2, I can no longer detect any drift. Everything works flawlessly.

Good build quality and long lasting battery. Not too small for big hands. Highly recommended!

A must-have for more intensive gaming (Zelda, Mario Kart without kids, Splatoon, etc...). Very good quality, good weight, more sensitive than the Joy-Con and very good price. To be seriously considered compared to the Joy-Con which are more expensive and of lower quality.

As an Xbox One and PS4 controller owner, my personal preference would be:
1) Xbox One Elite Controller
2) Xbox One Controller
3) Switch Pro Controller
4) PS4 Controller
5) Joycon

Very good controller, clean and sturdily made. The battery life is very pleasantly long. Actually a must since the Joycon's are ergnonomic junk in TV mode. But the controller is a little expensive...Well, typical Nintendo.

The best is the opposite of good, especially in certain games where the original controller always works better than an unknown or exotic 🕹 brand controller. Always go for the original.

After 1 hour of playing, my left thumb hurts. But maybe I've also become too old...

My son thinks it's great. Works perfectly, good quality. Better than other compatible devices.

Many PlayStation game claim the PS5 controller is the best, but in my opinion the Switch Pro Controller is hard to beat. It fits perfectly in the hand, the buttons feel smooth and its design is very simple but aesthetically pleasing.
If you play on the Switch, this gamepad is a must, because every Zelda game is just more fun that way.
I've had it for four whole years now and I've dropped it countless times and everything is still on it and still works great.
I can only recommend.

This is the second Pro Controller we have purchased. The first one is about 2 years old, works fine and is assembled to fit perfectly. The new one is inaccurately assembled, has protruding edges and the joystick wobbles. So it is not worth the money.

I'm still very sad that the controller is simply not available in pink. What is going wrong at Nintendo? Why does it always have to be in somber black? Pink would be much nicer and would always make me whoop when I see it.

I'm thrilled, I should have bought it immediately. Fits great in the hand, with large sticks and intuitive layout. Only the - and + keys are not always easy to hit - firstly, they lack elevation, and secondly, they are a bit too far away from the thumb.
Otherwise, however, I warmly recommend it. I mainly grabbed it because this controller has the option to turn off Bluetooth via Switch settings and USB cable. I want to keep my household as EMF-free as possible, which is why everything is wired up. The fact that this also works is great! Thanks, Nintendo.

The controller feels really good in the hand, in my opinion better than Xbox controllers. Everything works well with the Switch and Linux. In certain games, the button mapping is strange (Hogwarts Legacy interprets the A, B, X Y buttons differently when mapping the spells than when using them). Unfortunately, under Windows the controller has to be paired again each time, otherwise the connection does not work.
