I can't agree with the rating of "electronicsexpert" vol...

I can fully confirm the assessment by "electronicsexpert". There are still a few small things I would like to see in the operation, but these will also come with the update to WP8.1 in a few weeks. I previously had an iPhone and then a Google Nexus, but the Lumia 925 is by far the best smartphone I have ever had. It's very easy and intuitive to use, the OS is very power-efficient, the workmanship is high quality, the screen is top-notch. With the same weight, the same size, the same performance and the same usage, the runtime on one battery charge has more than doubled compared to iOS and Android...

+ Display: 4.5", HD, ClearBlack. Customisable colour intensity
    + Elegant design
+ is light, thin and feels good in the hand
+ Camera is top, I dare say that "low-light" photos are even better than those of the 1020.
    +
Here Maps/Here Drive is simply brilliant. Offline Maps and My Commute are great features and the whole thing is free!
+ Nokia Apps like Storyteller and Nokia Camera/Smart Cam
+ Integration with Windows 8.1 (SkyDrive, Xbox Music etc.)
    + Nokia Glance
    (+ Integration with Office 365)

+/- I really like Windows Phone 8. In my opinion much more intuitive and user-oriented than iOS (I don't know Android very well, so no comparison).

    - Low number of apps (Although this is generally a problem with Windows Phone 8. But Nokia already offers much more than other WP8 hardware manufacturers like Samsung or HTC)
    - Headphone jack fragile: I had to send my device in. The jack was worn out after 3 months of "normal use".
    - Only 16 GB memory - not expandable
    - Here Maps satellite view has potential for improvement

Switched from Galaxy Nexus to Lumia 925 3 weeks ago.

Hardware-wise, the device is absolutely top-notch:
+ Fits well in the hand, feels valuable
+ Display is awesome, brightness, sharpness, haptics
    + Camera takes good
    pictures, even in the dark.
+ Battery usually lasts 1.5 days (surfing, Whats app, mail, etc.) (I only use 3G because my subscription is limited to 1Mbit/s, so maybe that makes a difference)

Software wise I am more or less satisfied:
+ Synchronisation with Google (calendar, contacts, mail) works fine.
    + synchronisation with Windows PC
    + runs very smoothly

    - Calendar could be improved (week view is missing, in month view you can't see on which days you have an appointment...)
    - Nokia Maps still has a lot of potential (compared to Google Maps), especially with the satellite images.

    @haemmerli
Once again a "review" that is not a review! The device takes better photos, is a lot lighter/thinner, has a better display and just looks better.
I had the 920 and was very happy with it. But now I own a 925
and can only say it was the best purchase and I am 100% happy. It's not as if they didn't tell you that it only has 16 GB. Talking about memory expansion. The hardware/design didn't allow for an SD slot. You can find articles about this on the net.

Now it's up to everyone to decide whether they want a lighter, thinner, more beautiful phone and do without memory or opt for the cheaper 920. What is important are simply alternatives and for everyone "his" suitable product.
In addition, with the "lack of memory" you will often synchronise and organise your photos/movies to free up space. This has the advantage of not getting lost in chaos.

My last phone was Lumia 920, this is nice upgrade, only smaller storage is con. Phone could be a bit smaller, but fits in the pocket quite well.
Phone is as expected, no surprises (positive/negative), standard Windows Phone
with all pros and cons :-)

Absolutely lovely phone. I don't understand why more people aren't using Windows Phone - particularly after the 8.1 update.

And this handset is one of the best out there. Great camera, brilliant screen, a good weight and
    a fantastic operating system.

The only slight downside is that the second speaker is on the back of the handset, whereas on other phones this is sometimes at the bottom of the handset.

I cannot recommend this phone highly enough, particularly given the price difference to its main competitors, the iPhone, the HTC One or the Samsung Galaxy.
