The Olympus ED 14-150mm appealed to me because of its ideal focal length range for travel photography. I simply don't want to lug around 10 or more kilos of DSLR equipment. I was aware that this multi-range lens is hardly usable at open and fully closed apertures. On the other hand, it takes very good pictures at f/8 across the entire zoom range. In general, the lens is a lot of fun and worth recommending.

Was on holiday for 2 weeks and have had the camera with this lens for about 1 month. I switched from Nikon with much bigger and heavier components. After initial scepticism, I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with the image quality - also with the focal length range! I've taken really nice, sharp pictures with great colours, something the Nikon never managed. So I'm totally happy with the lens! I'm not sure if I want to buy any additional lenses...
Of course there are faster lenses with fixed focal lengths with even better properties - but I still give it 5 stars.

As always with this kind of equipment, long focal lengths are not very good. There is easily a kind of haze on the picture. The aperture is a bit small at maximum focal length.

Lens came in a kit. Never thought it would be so blurry, disappointing and so never used it. Apparently the large focal length range was too much of a challenge. Fortunately, this is an exception with Olympus, because otherwise there is almost only top quality.

Even though I have only been using the lens for about a week, it has met my expectations. I will continue to test it and adjust my review if necessary.

When you consider that you get a zoom range of 28-300mm (equivalent focal length) at a fair price with good to very good image quality, you don't need to take another lens with you on your travels for normal use. Works just as well with the Lumix G9 as it does with the E-M1 Mark lll. More light usually means a much higher price. A clear buy recommendation from me!!!

a typical lense suitable for multiple scales. The weight is not too heavy, but still okay. There is no silver one. The lens has no electrical motor which means remote control from the app cannot zoon in/out for all the cases, I suppose.

Good travel zoom, waterproof and quite sharp. A little dark but fun.

Sure, I would like more light, more sharpness, less price, etc. - A travel lens is just a compromise. You can find plenty of test reports on the Olymus ED 14-150 II lens on the internet and in photo magazines. For me, it's the advantages that count: An always-on lens for a wide range. Particularly positive: sealing and supplied aperture. A tip: For landscape and street photography, a standard 14-42mm lens is sufficient. For portraits, animals, flowers and details, a travel zoom is better. Conclusion: I would buy again.
By the way, I use the lens with an OM-D E-M10 Mark II (I would buy it again).
Excellent optics with simple and efficient construction. Perfect relationship with the housing and controls. Non-motorised zoom, but easy to manage. Precise manual or auto focus. Comes with a lens hood. Versatility in all circumstances. Almost like a pro!
I already had the previous model, which served me well. The m.zuiko 14-150 II looks better. The image quality is really good for such a part with over 10x zoom. If you are looking for much higher quality, you should go for the Panasonic 35-100 f/2.8 or m.zuiko 40-150 f/2.8. However, this puts a much heavier burden on your photo budget and they are also heavier, especially the m.zuiko 40-150 f/2.8.
I'm very satisfied with this one.
